Learn CPR: Sunday June 4th

INVITES YOU TO LEARN CPR WHEN: SUNDAY JUNE 4TH

10:00am – 3:00pm

National CPR and AED Awareness week is June 1st – 7th. To help raise awareness about the importance of CPR and to learn a lifesaving skill, we invite you to join us at the station, 131 Kirby St, for this community event. Every hour on the hour starting at 10:00am, our dedicated first responders will demonstrate and instruct you on how to provide hands-only CPR to individuals in the event of a cardiac arrest. We will also demonstrate proper AED use and provide you an opportunity to practice your newly honed skills and knowledge.

What you can expect

• Instruction on hands-only CPR and AED use.
• Hands on practice with our CPR mannequins with the guidance of our first responders.
• Confidence in your ability to utilize hands-only CPR and an AED to someone in need.

There will not be any certifications obtained during this event but the information you receive and the skills you will practice are invaluable. You could be the difference in saving someone’s life until first responders arrive. All ages are welcome to participate and no experience required.

ANYONE CAN LEARN CPR AND EVERYONE CAN BE A HERO.
