Board Candidate Statements
To residents of the Felton Fire District.
With so many qualified candidates and the number of fire board seats that need to be filled, I felt it was in the community’s best interest to allow the fire board applicants to address the community as they saw fit with their statements.
My intent is to allow you to make an informed and educated decision on who will be responsible for making the decisions for your safety.
For those that are unfamiliar the Felton Fire Protection District is responsible for all fire and EMS responses within the town of Felton and the immediate areas.
It is comprised of 5 board members who oversee the Fire Chief and the fiduciary requirements of the district.
The Fire Chief in turn runs the day-to-day operations and oversees all the operational personnel.
I hope that you will take the time to read these statements and decide for yourself who would best represent your interests and safety for the next 4 years during this next election cycle.
