Vendor applications are open

We're bringing together a fresh mix of new local makers and the longtime favorites people come back for. If you make it by hand and you're local to the valley, we'd like to see your work on our shelves.

Felton's original Christmas craft fair — and its longest-running one.

For more than forty years, the weekend before Thanksgiving has meant one thing in Felton.

The engines roll out front, the doors open, and for two days the firehouse becomes a Christmas market run entirely by neighbors. People who came here as kids now bring their own. Some started out shopping the tables, became makers, and ended up in the kitchen.

Come inside. Say hello to people you haven't seen since last year. Buy something made three miles from where you're standing. Stay for lunch.

What makes this one different

It's held inside the firehouse.

Not a gym. Not a parking lot. For one weekend a year, Felton Fire hands over its own station.

The engines move out

Parked out front where kids can get close to them, while the bay becomes a market floor.

Firefighters on the floor

The men and women who answer Felton's calls are walking around all weekend.

Neighbors running it

No event company. The Auxiliary sets up, cooks the food and pours the coffee.

Lend a hand

It takes a whole town to fill these shelves.

Santa's Shelves runs on neighbors. Every plate of food, every tray of cookies and every table set up on Friday night comes from someone in this community. There's a place for you.

Bake for the bake sale

Our bake sale table is filled entirely by Felton kitchens, and it sells out both days. Cookies, cakes, pies, breads, candies — anything homemade.

  • Sign up so we know roughly what's coming
  • Package items individually if you can
  • Include a note if it contains nuts

Drop-off: Friday, November 20 · 10 AM – 4 PM at the station

Donate to the silent auction

The silent auction and raffle are two of the weekend's biggest fundraisers, and every item on the table is donated by a neighbor or a local business.

  • Gift certificates and services
  • Getaways, outings and experiences
  • Handmade pieces and gift baskets
  • Business donations — we'll credit you on the bid sheet

Volunteer for a shift

Most shifts are two or three hours, and you'll be working alongside people you know. No experience needed for any of them.

  • Friday setup — tables, signage, decorating
  • Kitchen and food service
  • Bake sale and raffle tables
  • Greeting at the door
  • Sunday breakdown and cleanup

Where the money goes

Every dollar stays with Felton Fire

The food, the mimosas, the bake sale, the raffle and the silent auction are all fundraisers for the Felton Fire Auxiliary, which puts the money back into the people who serve this valley:

  • Uniforms for Felton firefighters
  • Equipment and gear the district needs
  • Support for the station and its crews
About the Auxiliary
